Ian Thomlinson - Director

Ian is the lead director of land4homes. Ian has over 30 years of experience in the development land market. Before joining land4homes in 2012, Ian had ten years at Jones Lang LaSalle as a director, running the regional residential land team. Prior to working in a residential land agency, Ian worked for a number of high profile regional and national housing developers.

Jonathan Sharp BSc FRICS – Director

In 1986 Reeds Rains, the company Jonathan worked for changed to Prudential Property Services. With the change in name came a change in job title – from Associate Partner to Area Director responsible for Development Land and New Homes. In 1988 Jonathan became a Director and shareholder in Dean Smith Developments. In 1990 Jonathan left Dean Smith Developments and started land4homes.

Driving Directions

from the north via M56

1. Leave the M56 motorway at junction 6 and travel along Wilmslow Road (A538) passing through the two Manchester airport runway tunnels in the direction of Wilmslow.

2. After a couple of miles pass the 30 mph speed signs on the outskirts of Wilmslow, a Texaco station, then the large pub on the right hand side, continue for 800 metres.

3.Turn right into Bourne Street, opposite a shop called Beauty FX on the left.

4. Turn almost immediately left off Bourne Street into a car park, drive through into a further car park following the small white "private car park" and black and white "Reynard House" signs.

5. Our four car parking spaces are then immediately on your left backing onto a low brick wall.

6. The entrance is round the left hand side of the building (not visible from the car park). Just walk up the few steps and around the left side of the building to a black door with a security entry phone.

from the north via A34

1. Starting point is the A34/M56 junction.

2. Travel south along the A34 dual carriageway.

3. Pass John Lewis and Sainsbury on the right.

4. Straight on at the first three roundabouts.

5. Pass Marks & Spencer, Tesco on the right etc.

6. Go straight on at the next roundabout (Total Fitness to the left).

7. Go straight on at the next roundabout (Handforth Dean to the right).

8. Turn right at the next roundabout (to Wilmslow town centre) and pass under the railway archway.

9. Turn left at the next small roundabout up the hill and straight over the traffic lights.

10. Get in the right hand lane and turn right at the next traffic lights in the centre of Wilmslow, onto Water Lane.

11. After about 0.5 mile pass a large grass area on the left, then the fire station and our office is then 50 yards on the left hand corner of Bourne Street (our building is behind a brick wall and some large trees - it is a converted Quaker Meeting House).

12. Turn immediately left again off Bourne Street into a car park, drive across the first car park into a further car park following the small black and white sign "Reynard House".

13. Our four car parking spaces are then immediately on your left backing onto a low brick wall.

14. The entrance is round the left hand side of the building - not visible from the car park - just walk up the few steps and around the left side of the building to a black door with a security entry phone.

from the south via A34 from the A34/A537 junction (Monks Heath)

1. Travel north along the A34 from the traffic lights at the A537 junction (Monks Heath).

2. Cross the next traffic lights and then continue straight on at the first roundabout along the new Alderley Edge bypass at the end of which turn first left off the roundabout, signposted Wilmslow.

3. At the next large roundabout (Esso station and Kings Arms pub on left) take the second exit (Bedells Lane).

4. Follow this relatively narrow local road to the end (Shell petrol station on right, village green on left).

5. Turn left on to the main road leading away from Wilmslow.

6. Turn second left into Bourne Street (our office is visible on the left hand corner behind a brick wall and large trees - it is a converted Quaker Meeting House).

7. Turn immediately left again off Bourne Street into a car park, drive across the first car park into a further car park following the small black and white sign "Reynard House".

from the east (Poynton/A523)

1. From the centre of Poynton village travel west towards Woodford.

2. After about 3 miles at the first mini roundabout turn right (towards Bramhall)

3. At the next roundabout turn left on to the dual carriageway.

4. Come off at the first slip road down to a roundabout and turn left (Marks & Spencer/Tesco on right).

5. Carry straight on at the next two roundabouts.

6. At the third roundabout turn right towards Wilmslow under the railway arch.

7. At the first roundabout turn left up the hill.

8. Cross the first traffic lights then get in the right lane.

9. At the next traffic lights (ignore pedestrian lights) in the very centre of town turn right along Water Lane.
