This journal isn't about the finer points of obtaining planning permission or housing development but rather about some of the fine and not so fine characters I've met over the last 20 years. Some of them were clients and some, thank goodness, weren't. Most were characters in the British sense of the word, others eccentric and all without exception added a little more colour to the day.
Prudence dictates that I have changed certain names and places. Other than that I have endeavoured to keep the facts true to memory. Given daily workload, entries will not be made on a regular basis.
Finally, in the unlikely event that someone might wish to syndicate this journal, I would be open to offers. Most unlikely I know but stranger things have happened. The case of the frog in a teacup and the wheelbarrow millionaire to name but two.
